"FROM OPERA TO BROADWAY"

On Saturday, August 21, 2004 at 6:30 P.M., OPERA OF THE HAMPTONS presents FROM OPERA TO BROADWAY.  This superb evening will be held at CASTELLO DI BORGHESE VINEYARD & WINERY, the founding vineyard of the estate wine industry in Cutchogue, New York.   The music of Verdi, Puccini and Rossini, the scintillating songs of Cole Porter, and the latest of the Broadway revivals, Fiddler On The Roof, are highlighted.  From Opera To Broadway with international songs as well, will be an evening to remember.   Bring your own chair, a delicious repast and enjoy the marvelous wines at Castello di Borghese.

Ann Marie and Marco Borghese, Patrons of the Arts, have supported Opera of the Hamptons for the past four seasons in their Classical Series at the Vineyard.  With their enthusiasm for the arts, it is a pleasure to perform at Castello Di Borghese Vineyard & Winery and be a part of this beautiful atmosphere.

Once again Christopher Patti of the Steinway Piano Gallery, Steinway & Sons, has generously provided a piano for this event.  The Steinway Piano Gallery is located at the Mall at the Source on Old Country Road in Westbury, Long Island.  

Opera of the Hamptons international cast always makes this a thrilling evening.  Singing at the concert are Soprano Maria Ciccaglione, Mezzo Sopranos Hayden DeWitt and Barbara Heller, Tenor David Katz, Baritone Richard Hobson, with guest artists Lilian Spring and Stephen Pollack.  Our distinguished and versatile Music Director is Atarah Hazzan and Artistic Director is Barbara Giancola. This extraordinary group of artists is the perfect choice to celebrate fine music and fine wine.
